Waste marble dust (WMD) supplied from Afyon region of Turkey was used as an additive material in cement production. WMD used consists of basically SiO 2, Al 2 O 3, and CaO with minor contents of MgO, Fe 2 O 3, K 2 O and Na 2 O according to XRD analysis. The physical properties and chemical constituents of WMD are given in Table 1.
